This Modernist floor lamp was designed by Robert Slezak and produced by The Slezak Company in the 1930s Czechoslovakia.

The piece has got an elegant shape with a beautiful combination of walnut veneer and chrome steel. The 'C' shaped floor lamp represents perfectly the Modernist approach to furniture design. Its minimalist, functional and elegant; a perfect companion for anyone who likes to read in style.

The lamp is in great vintage condition. There is some minor wear and tear on the steel surface and on the wooden parts acquired over the years. Lamp shade is brand new, made as an exact copy of the original shape. Wood has been refurbished, hand finished with a French polishing technique and Shellac varnish.
