1960's Walnut Extendable Dining table
1960's Walnut Extendable Dining table
This dining table was produced in the 1960’s in Czechoslovakia by Mier and is the perfect piece for entertaining, larger dinner parties and the everyday family teatime.
This piece has a particularly beautiful walnut veneer tabletop pattern with gloss finish, together with angled sides and tapering slender legs. It operates as an extendable table, with a full length of 170 cm.
Extending the table is very easy - the two sides simply slide outwards, the extra middle parts are hidden upside down underneath the main tabletop and can be easily placed into the right position. Also the four legs can be easily unscrewed (and screwed back again) which allows the table to be comfortably transport or stored when necessary.
Produced in the 1960s, it still holds great design appeal and is the perfect addition to a collector’s home.
This piece is in great vintage condition showing only minimal natural wear and tear gained over the years. The table have been recently restored using original techniques and respecting the character of the piece whilst reviving the natural pattern of the wood.
