The sideboard with two lockable veneered hinged doors and four black and white Formica drawers, designed by the legendary Czech furniture designer Jiri Jiroutek, is part of the popular U collection manufactured by Interier Praha in the 1960s Czechoslovakia. This piece perfectly embodies the so-called Brussels Style, named after Expo 1958 in Brussels where Czechoslovakia won 13 prizes including one in the furniture category.
