A beautiful coffee table in excellent condition which was produced in 1964 by Drevospoj Breclav in former Czechoslovakia. Unfortunately we are not aware of the actual designer but we know that this piece was designed in the Czech Brussel style as well as the visible influence of Scandinavian furniture design.

This influence is particularly apparent in the use of material. It was more common at the time to use a formica (in different colours) as a tabletop rather than this solution to simply use wood or veneer as the main decor.

The slick hexagon shaped table top with a particularly stunning walnut pattern is the main design feature here. The legs are made of beech wood and the tabletop has got a walnut veneer worktop and also on its sides.

This piece is in perfect vintage condition. The wooden frame, legs and the table top have been all cleaned and re polished to its original condition. There is only absolutely minimal wear acquired over the years.
