This adjustable wooden stool was designed and produced in Czechoslovakia in the late 1960’s, most likely by the TON Furniture Company. It consists of four tampered cylinder legs, that are angled and hold together with a brown bakelite form. In the middle, there is a hole for the metal screw which then holds the thick circular beechwood seat.

The seat can be adjusted up or down from 47 cm to 60 cm by simply winding the seat round. The natural beauty of the wood is showing in every detail and together with the perfectly balanced proportions of each form makes this piece a great addition to any modern, Scandi or more traditional interior. The stool can be used as a dining chair, or as piano chair.

This stool is in great vintage condition. The wooden parts have been polished by hand in a recent restoration using original techniques and materials. There is only absolute minimal wear and the whole piece is nearly in its original condition.
