This is an extremely rare table lamp - Type M 2/3. It was designed in the late 1960's by Stepan Tabery and produced by Osvetlovaci sklo Company in Czechoslovakia.

This lamp is a bold statement piece. A very high level of craftsmanship was required to make the bulbous shape, which consists of two handblown layers of a glass - a white layer inside and bright orange on the outside.  There is also the added detail of the brass base that works perfectly with the brilliant tangerine orange of the lamp.

This piece is truly a combination of a great design and craft. It demonstrates a great skills and tradition of Czech glass/lighting design.

The lamp is in great vintage condition. There is no damage on the glass. The brass base shows some natural wear and tear according to its age. All parts are original and fully functional.
