A pair of original Art Deco 1920’s Bedside tables made of Beech with a rich Walnut veneer texture.

At the first half of the 20th Century, this was a popular piece of as it was an essential item for every stylish bedroom of the time.

This pair has got a lovely walnut veneer with a striking pattern on all of its outside surfaces (excluding the backs) which goes wonderfully with orange handles of the door and the drawer. These rounded handles are beautifully crafted, almost like a small sculptures that adds nice detailing to the whole piece.

The elegance of its shape, the softly curved edges, the attention to detail as well as the beauty of the wood makes this piece a prime example of the sophistication of 1920’s furniture design.

Both bedside tables have been recently completely refurbished to its former glory. The recent restoration of the surface has fully revived the extremely rich colour of the entire piece, showing off the beautiful patterns on all surfaces. The entire piece has been hand finished by Shellac varnish in order to achieve an original gloss finish.
