An extremely rare early version of the iconic coffee table designed by architects Antonin Kropacek and Karel Kozelka.  It was produced by Ceske Umelecke Dilny, Czechoslovakia, in 1944. This table, together with two armchairs was awarded a silver medal at the 1946 Milan Triennale. This piece has got a wonderful walnut veneer with a striking pattern. The simplicity and elegance of its shape together with the beautiful wood makes this table a real furniture design masterpiece.  

The table has been recently completely refurbished to its former glory. Our experienced craftsman has carried the restoration to the highest standard, using French polishing technique and Shellac varnish to hand finish the entire piece.
