This armchair was originally designed in 1930s for UP Brno and it remained in production during the communist regime until the 1960s. The elegant proportions of the frame and unusual shaped armrests make this piece unique.

The armchair has been re-upholstered with the best quality fabric by Kvadrat. A rich green material has been chosen to replace the worn original dark green patterned fabric and to compliment the light colour of the timber frame. 

The frame has been fully repaired and refurbished to the highest standard using original techniques and materials, respecting the character and retaining the charm of the item. The original lacquer has been carefully removed and replaced by Nitro varnish that emphasizes the natural quality as well as the colour of the timber.
