Restored Armchair originally designed by Jindrich Halabala (with new Kvadrat upholstery in yellow)

€0.00

The influence of Scandinavian design on Jindrich Halabala, the well-known Czech architect and author of this armchair’s aesthetic, is visible on this particular piece.

The armchair has been recently re-upholstered with the best quality material by Kvadrat. The rich textured yellow fabric that compliments the simple and elegant dark stained legs and armrests has replaced the original damaged red fabric. The carefully replicated seat and backrest infill offers more comfortable experience.

The frame has been strengthened and fully restored to the highest standard by a specialist, experienced restorer using original techniques, respecting the character of the item. The old lacquer has been carefully removed, replaced and hand finished by Nitro varnish giving the frame a great gloss that highlights the timber pattern.
