Set of four Art Deco dining chairs

€0.00

A super rare set of four Art Deco chairs, believed to be designed in the 1910’s. Their design is very original and unusual, especially in the playful design of the back leg connecting to the round seat before continuing up to effortlessly hold the backrest cushion.

The seat is also supported by another three legs, which connect with an intersecting support underneath the seat. This creates a light and exciting geometrical effect. The front and two side legs are made of a honey comb colour oak wood, the rest of the chairs has a walnut veneer. The fabric pattern is a combination of stripes and floral ornaments with a dark fuchsia pink trim around the edge of the cushion.

The chairs are in good vintage condition, with some normal wear and patina on the wooden surface gained from its use over the years. There are some small cracks and chips on some parts of the walnut veneer. The chairs are structurally fine without any damage to the construction or the fabrics.

Period: 1910's

Dimensions: w 41 cm, d 47 cm, h 89 cm, seat h 46 cm

Materials: Walnut Veneer, Oak
