Set of two Mid-Century armchairs with original fabric.

These chairs were clearly inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics, particulary by the work of Ib Kofod-Larsen. The slick, organic shaped armrest with precise details are the main design feature. The designer and producer of these chairs are unknown but they are believed to be made in West Germany in the late 1950’s.

The wooden frame has been recently refurbished to its former glory. Our experienced craftsman has carried the restoration to the highest standard, using French polishing technique and Shellac varnish to hand finish the entire piece.

The original green/blue patterned fabric is in very good vintage condition with no holes or tears. There is a slight colour fade on some parts according to its age. The fabric was recently professionally cleaned.
