These elegant dining chairs were designed and produced by TON Company in Czechoslovakia. The shape of these chairs is based on the traditional Thonet/TON dining chair. The bentwood backrest however is a typical design aesthetic of the 1960’s. The upholstered seat is padded and covered in blue fabric.

Both chairs are in great vintage condition, the frame has been refurbished and finished by hand using Shellac varnish to achieve the best possible finish and to bring out the colour and pattern of the beech wood.
