This is one of the true icons of the 20th century Czech design, the table lamp 0513 by famous lighting designer Josef Hurka. This lamp is often nicknamed the "Nun lamp" for its similarity to the shape of a nun's hat. The nickel shade has got wonderful organic curves, is adjustable and works perfectly well to funnel the light. In contrast, the steel base is a simple block with sharp angles. These two parts are connected by a chome steel rod. The perfectly balanced contrast between the black and white colour, the materials and the organic and simple shape makes this lamp a timeless piece of design.

This piece is in very good vintage condition, with some minor scratches through natural wear and tear. All parts are original and fully functional.
