This is the table lamp Type 85104. It was designed in the 1970's by Josef Hurka and was produced by the iconic brand NAPAKO.

Josef Hurka is considered by many as the most influential Czech lighting designer of the 20th Century. This table lamp is one of his less known designs. 

The lamp has a minimal form, consisting of only two parts. The adjustable red lamp shaped in a half sphere is fixed simply to the L shaped chrome stand. The result is striking - and creates a sort of constructivist /architectural form. Despite being designed in 1970's, the lamp still looks very contemporary.

This piece is in great vintage condition. There are some very small scratches due to normal wear and tear. All parts are original and fully functional.
