The U-453 Oak sideboard, was designed by legendary Czech furniture designer Jiri Jiroutek, and was part of the popular U collection manufactured by Interier Praha in the 1960s Czechoslovakia. This piece perfectly embodies the elegance of the so-called Brussels Style, named after Expo 1958 in Brussels where Czechoslovakia won 13 prizes including one in the furniture category.

The sideboard is in great original condition. There is some small wear and tear on the wooden surface.
