Wall Divider by Ludvik Volak for Drevopodnik Holesov
Wall Divider by Ludvik Volak for Drevopodnik Holesov
A wall divider designed by Czech architect, Ludvik Volak and manufactured by Drevopodnik Holešov, Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. A perfect sculptural piece that can be used as a plant stand, a wall divider, shelving or simply just for decoration.
It was made in a former Thonet factory and represents their great traditional technique of bentwood. It is simple but a truly unique and original design.
The whole piece has been refurbished and is in great vintage condition. The wood has been cleaned and then laquered by shellac polish. A small part of veneer on one of the shelves was damaged and has been replaced as part of the refurbishment.
