This armchair is known as 'Type 69' and was designed by Czech architect Jaroslav Smidek.  This piece is constructed from solid beech and has its original fabric intact and in good condition.

It is a beautiful example of so called 'Brussels Style', which was a style named after Expo 58 in Brussel where Czechoslovakia won 13 major awards, including one for the furniture design.
