This original 1960s ceiling light was most likely produced in former Czechoslovakia and reflects the forward-looking optimism of Mid-Century Modern design, with subtle references to the emerging Space Age aesthetic.

The pendant features a milk glass shade, elegantly formed into a smooth conical silhouette. Towards the base, the form transitions into a series of graduated ribbed rings, each subtly defined by fine gold-brown lines that emphasise the geometry and add a warm decorative note. This layered detailing introduces a gentle visual rhythm, enriching the otherwise minimalistic design. The shade is set into a white cap, and the piece is suspended from a white-coloured cable, maintaining a cohesive and understated palette.

The lamp remains in good original vintage condition, there is no damages, or cracks, only minor wear to the glass consistent with age. It has been fitted with a new white cable in keeping with the original aesthetic, and the lamp is fully functional.
