This Mid Century Table with an adjustable pale pink formica top was designed and produced in the 1960’s Czechoslovakia.

The piece perfectly embodies the elegance of the so-called Brussels Style, named after Expo 1958 in Brussels where Czechoslovakia won 13 prizes including one in the furniture category.

The table has been designed with careful attention to detail and has got a simple, slender design with elegantly curved corners of the adjustable top. The subtle pattern on the formica table top contrasts beautifully with the dark beech wooden structure. The table top swivels 360 degrees and can be adjusted to any position. The side table was used mainly to display a tv or radio set but can also be used as a side table for serving food.

The table frame and legs has been refurbished and finished to the highest standard using original techniques and materials, retaining the vintage character. This piece shows excellent condition with minimal wear on the formica top.
