This refined Mid-Century tabouret is an elegant example of Czechoslovak furniture from the 1960s, a period when local designers increasingly absorbed the language of Scandinavian design. The tabouret stands onfour angled, tapered beechwood legs, showcasing the lightly honeyed tone and natural grain that characterised much of the country’s mid-century production. Their splayed, lightweight geometry gives the piece a gentle dynamism while ensuring everyday stability.

The rectangular seat has been newly upholstered, replacing fabric that had sadly deteriorated beyond restoration.
