This rare flower vase, designed in the 1970s by the acclaimed Czech glass artist Frantisek Vizner (1936-2011), is a stunning example of postwar European studio glass. Created at the Skrdlovice Glassworks, a legendary hub of experimentation and craftsmanship, it reflects the extraordinary fusion of technical mastery and poetic simplicity that defined Vizner’s work.

The vase, known as model 7626/24, is formed from thick, hand-blown green glass, encasing layers of shimmering mica particles sealed within the body of the glass.
