About the Piece

The stool’s character comes from its straightforward construction: four square legs, broad seat rails and lower stretchers create a balanced, architectural frame. The open sides keep the form visually light, while the textured cushion softens its geometry.

A surviving Krásná Jizba label beneath the seat adds a particularly appealing detail. Equally suited to a bedroom, hallway or living room, the stool offers useful occasional seating without taking up much space.
