Pair of original bedside lamps from the 1960s, combining practical design with warm ambient lighting, shipped to the United States as a part of project for local Interior Design studio.

A pair of original Mid-century table lamps. These lights were produced in the early 1960's by the Pokrok Zilina Company in the Former Czechoslovakia. Their design is strongly influenced by the so called 'Brussels Style'. This aesthetic was adopted by many Czech households after the huge success of Czech presentation of architecture and furniture design on the Expo 1958 in Brussels.

The lamp shades are made of fabric with a colourful striking organic pattern, are easily adjustable as they are held directly on the bulb itself by a light wire frame. The base is a tripod made of wood with the on/off switch located on a cable separate from the lamp.

The pair of lamps are in great vintage condition and are fully functional. There is no damage, only slight signs of natural wear and tear according to their age.
