This Ceiling pendant light is a bold statement piece from the 1960’s. It is believed to be designed by the renown Czech glass designer Jaroslav Bejvl (1941 - 2016). The light was likely produced and made at the Kamenicky Senov Factory in former Czechoslovakia - a country with a great and long tradition in producing top quality glasswork.

Very high level of craftsmanship was required to make this thick blown glass sphere shape, with the subtle detailing of the ‘droplets’ in different size placed around within the glass.

The ceiling light consists of the main glass bulb which is screwed into a brass plate that sails over the glass and is hung by the brass rings with clips between them. The glass is held by three screws into a brass head. These three screws in the main brass head enable the easy removable of the glass globe, making access for changing the bulb very straightforward.

This piece is in great vintage condition, with some minor natural wear gained over the years on the brass head and the chain parts. All parts are original and fully functional.
