This Black Mid Century Table lamp was designed and produced in the early 1970’s. Its design (mainly the lampshade) was hugely inspired by the Italian production of the time.

The lamp’s round flat base and the lampshade are both made of steel. They are painted a black colour which nicely contrasts with the silver stand that connects them. The silver colour of the steel ‘neck’ also makes the whole lamp design look subtle and light. The shape of the lampshade looks like two half spheres joined together and can be moved to different positions and heights by adjusting the steel rod.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with some minor natural wear gained over the years inside the lampshade and on the steel rod. There are no chips or cracks on any part of the lamp. There is a new cable with the plug socket. The on/off button is original and the lamp is fully functional.
